		<description><![CDATA[<p>Tickets on Sale Now for Blue Slipper Play Fest</p>
<p>The Blue Slipper Theatre, 113 E. Callender in downtown Livingston, will hold a 10-Minute Play Festival from May 11 through 20. Eleven directors and nearly 30 actors will present 18 short plays by playwrights from as near as Livingston and Bozeman and as far as New York, Texas, Florida and Ontario.</p>
<p>The plays are divided into two sets of nine plays each. Set A will be offered Friday, May 11 and Saturday May 12 at 8:00 pm, and Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20 at 3:00 pm. Set B will be offered Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 at 3:00 pm, and Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $12 for a single performance ($10 for students and seniors), or a block of both sets for $20 ($16 for students and seniors). Advance ticket sales are available at Elk River Books, 115 E. Callender, next door to the Blue Slipper. Elk River Books is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Reservations may also be made by calling the Blue Slipper at 222-7720 and leaving a message.</p>

<p>Rehearsals have been taking place throughout Livingston including the Mint Bar and Theatre, Shane Lalani Center for the Arts, Murray Hotel, Danforth Gallery, Livingston Center for Art and Culture, Lincoln School and Firehall Fitness Center, as well as the Blue Slipper, helping to make the festival a truly community-wide event. The Slipper hopes the festival becomes an annually occurring event that continues to bring exciting, original plays to Livingston while offering a chance for many new people to get involved in theatrical productions.</p>

<p>Following the final performance, the Blue Slipper will present the first ever “Donnie” Awards, named in honor of the Theatre’s founder, Don Johns. Awards will be given to festival participants in several categories similar to Broadway’s Tony Awards. The awards ceremony will be held Sunday, May 20 at 7:00 pm.</p>
